Our mission is to provide high-quality, person-centred supports that promote choice, inclusion, health, and belonging. Aligned with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services’ Journey to Belonging framework, we are committed to continuous improvement, collaboration, and sustainable practices that respond to changing needs.

Our philosophy is rooted in the principle that every individual possesses unique strengths and deserves the opportunity to build meaningful social and life skills in a supportive environment. We emphasize collaboration, respect, and joy, creating a "hive" of unity where differences are celebrated, barriers are dismantled, and personal potential is unlocked. What We Offer
Our supports are fully self-directed, empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to choose their activities, pursue personal goals, and thrive independently — all under one hive.
Social Progams
​We foster authentic social interactions through group activities designed to build friendships, confidence, and lasting relationships in a welcoming environment.
Community Outings
We offer tailored outings for recreation, volunteering, and full community participation. Through regular outings and experiences, individuals are supported to explore opportunities, contribute, and feel a true sense of belonging.
Life Skills Support
We provide hands-on, person-directed training in daily living skills, including cooking, budgeting, and transportation.
Who We Support
Unity Hive is currently in the early stages of providing programs that are designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities who are working towards increased independence and social connection within their communities.
At this time our services are best suited to individuals with developmental disabilities who are able to participate in small group settings with minimal to moderate support and who benefit from guidance in social skills, communication, decision-making, and community navigation.

Our focus is on empowering participants to grow in confidence while respecting each person’s unique abilities and goals. As we continue to grow and expand, we aim to provide a broader range of programs and services catering to individuals who require more structured assistance.
